Cara Carter

Cara Carter is a sophomore at North Forsyth High School and has been dancing for 8 years, with 2 of those years at Sawnee School of the Arts. This is her first year as an SBT Company dancer. Her favorite styles of dance are ballet and hip-hop, and she is excited to continue improving her technique and overall dance skills throughout the season.

Cara’s favorite dance memory is meeting her friends at Sawnee, a moment that made her feel welcomed and connected to the studio community. She is looking forward to her first year in company and growing as a dancer alongside her peers.

Outside of dance, Cara enjoys drawing, learning music, and exploring new interests. Her favorite color is pastel pink, and a fun fact about her is that she took a four-year break from dance before returning. After high school, she plans to attend SCAD and pursue a career in interior design.

She would like to thank her best friends, Claudia and Kinsley, as well as her dog Rosie, for their love and support.
