Meet Our Dancers
Clara Rogers
Clara is a junior at Forsyth Central High School, where she is part of the STEM Program and the Biotechnology pathway. She has been dancing for 14 years, and this is her first year as an SBT Company dancer. Clara also brings seven years of competitive dance experience, performing in a variety of styles, though her favorite is lyrical. As a new member of SBT, she is most looking forward to performing in The Nutcracker and the Spring Concert, building new friendships, and making an impact in the community through performance.
In addition to dancing, Clara is an officer in HOSA, a leader in FCA, and a member of BETA Club, Women in STEM, and FBLA. Through the Forsyth County Work-Based Learning Program, she participates in a weekly internship to gain experience in the medical field. After high school, Clara plans to study neuroscience in college and later attend medical school to become a psychiatrist.
Outside of school and dance, Clara enjoys spending time with friends, shopping, and reading her Bible. She also loves babysitting and specializes in caring for medically fragile children.
Clara would like to thank her parents, friends, and dance instructors for allowing her to flourish and become the dancer she is today.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11
