Colette Duarte

Colette is a freshman at North Forsyth High School, where she is currently pursuing the Healthcare pathway. She has been dancing for nine years, and this is her second year as an SBT Company dancer. Her favorite styles of dance are tap and ballet, and she is excited to continue growing and improving in all genres.

Colette’s favorite thing about SBT is the warm, welcoming environment—she loves being part of a community that feels like a second family. One of her most special memories is the moment she found out she had been accepted into the company; she was thrilled to meet new people and begin her journey as a company member.

Outside of dance, Colette enjoys reading, listening to music, sleeping, traveling, shopping, and spending time with her family. After high school, she plans to attend Duke University and study biology.

Colette would like to thank her mother and father for always supporting her and encouraging her to follow her dream.
