Elise Hershey

Elise Hershey is a senior at Forsyth Central High School and is enrolled in the teaching program. She has been dancing for 5 years, and this is her third year as an SBT Company dancer. Her favorite styles of dance are contemporary and ballet, and one of her favorite parts of being in the company is the opportunity to grow as both a dancer and an artist within a supportive community.

After coming to the studio in middle school, Elise found a second home where she could work hard and express herself in a space that is both challenging and encouraging. One of her favorite memories is closing night of The Nutcracker, when everyone is emotional that the shows are over but incredibly proud of what they accomplished together.

Beyond the studio, Elise is involved in her school community through organizations such as National Honor Society and Beta Club. She enjoys spending time with friends, shopping, traveling, and going to concerts. After high school, she plans to study dance and forensic science in college.

Elise would like to thank her amazing family, instructors, and friends for their constant support, encouragement, and belief in her.
