Kensie King

Kensie King is a rising freshman at West Forsyth High School. She has been dancing for 11 years, 6 of those at Sawnee School of the Arts. This season will be her first as an SBT Company dancer. While she enjoys all styles of dance, her favorite style is lyrical.

Kensie is excited to join SBT to continue growing as a dancer and making new memories. Her favorite dance memory is making friends and being part of performances throughout her training.

Beyond the studio, Kensie is involved in the 3DE program at school and hopes to join Student Council. Her favorite color is pink, and her favorite animal is a dog. She has a mini goldendoodle named Ellie. Outside of dance, she enjoys spending time with friends and riding the golf cart. After high school, she hopes to attend the University of Georgia to participate in the dance program and Dance Dawgs, while majoring in Business or Marketing.

She would like to thank her parents for making her dance journey possible, as well as her friends for their encouragement, and her teachers and studio staff for their constant support and positivity.
