McKaylie Featsent

McKaylie Featsent is a sophomore who has been dancing for 13 years and is in her third year as an SBT Company dancer. Her favorite styles of dance are jazz and lyrical.

McKaylie began her dance journey in ballet and, over time, discovered a passion for exploring different styles of dance, eventually falling in love with jazz and lyrical. She hopes to continue dancing in college as a member of a collegiate dance team.

Beyond the studio, McKaylie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and making memories with her nieces and nephew. She is actively involved in her church and loves being part of her youth group. One of her favorite things about Sawnee has been the lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories she has made with her dance family, and she is grateful for the growth, confidence, and training the studio has provided throughout the years.

A fun fact about McKaylie is that her favorite color is blue, and she can never say no to a plate of chicken alfredo.

She would like to thank her parents, grandparents, teachers, and friends for their constant support in helping her pursue her passion for dance.
